Course Overview:
This course is for anyone who is looking to enhance their understanding of the basic concepts of news literacy. Through this course, you will improve your understanding of 1) how to read and analyze news, 2) the differences between misinformation, disinformation, and mal-information, and 3) how to apply different fact-checking techniques/tools. This course will also show you how best to find credible news, and how you can avoid being fooled by fake news, videos, and other information online.
